Easter 2005
The day before Easter we went to a local Easter Egg Hunt. There were so many kids and it was raining. But we were there to find some eggs, so we stuck around.

Above left Yes, every one of those little specks is an Easter egg! Not much of a hunt, but for the toddler group it was perfect. When they blew the whistle, parents ran with their kids to pick up as many eggs as they could - the parents not the kids. It was a little frustrating when Sydney would bend down to pick up an egg and it would be scooped up by an adult with a handful of eggs. Above right We made sure that Sydney was able to get a few in her basket. Left And amazingly enough, she got a bunch!

That night, we colored eggs for the Easter bunny to hide.
Sydney is very serious about coloring eggs.
Ah, look at that concentration. (LOL!)
The finished eggs!!

Then Sydney and Nanny made Easter cupcakes.
Easter Sunday, Sydney woke to find that the Easter bunny had come and left her lots of candy and toys.

Then we got dressed for brunch at the Peabody Hotel.
With Momma
With Mommy
The Easter Bunny was there to greet us.
Can't go to the Peabody and NOT get a rubber ducky.
Or visit the live ducks in their pond.
